Do you, your child, or your friends want to learn how to ride a bike? We've got you covered! Thanks to volunteers of the Helena-West Helena community, we'll have big and small bikes for you to learn on during the day. We'll also have experienced riders there to teach you what you need to know to get around safely on a bike. Who knows, one day you'll be able to ride in the Delta Grind bike ride too! Join us Saturday, May 27, from 10am-1pm in historic downtown Helena -West Helena - at Court Square Park across from Messina's.
Big thanks to Recycled Bikes For Kids, who will provide training bikes and helmets for the day. Learn to Ride is made possible through the coordinated efforts of Studio Drift, Thrive Inc., The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, The Helena-West Helena Fire Department, Hope Church, Delta Magic, Main Street Helena, and Freedom for Youth. Refreshments provided. For information about Lear to Ride, contact Will Staley at 870-816-4844.
